Paint protection/ Ceramic Coating

Ceramic coating is a protective treatment that enhances a vehicle’s paint by adding a durable, hydrophobic layer that repels water, dirt, and contaminants while boosting gloss and depth. Unlike wax or sealants, ceramic coatings form a semi-permanent bond with the paint, offering long-term protection against UV rays, oxidation, chemical stains, and minor scratches.

As a detailer, the application process starts with a thorough wash and paint decontamination, followed by paint correction to remove imperfections. The coating is then carefully applied in small sections, leveled with an applicator pad, and buffed off after flashing. Once cured, it provides a sleek, glass-like finish that’s easier to clean and maintains a showroom look for years.

Headlight restoration is essential for both safety and aesthetics, as over time, headlights become cloudy and yellowed due to oxidation, UV exposure, and road debris. This cloudiness reduces light output, making nighttime driving more dangerous.

As a detailer, the restoration process involves sanding the headlight lens in stages with progressively finer grit sandpaper to remove the damaged layer, followed by polishing to restore clarity. Finally, a UV sealant is applied to protect the lens and maintain its clarity. This not only improves visibility but also enhances the overall appearance of the vehicle.
